Manchester Deaf Centre is inside Crawford House, which is situated on the corner of the crossroads of Booth St East and Oxford Road. Use the entrance on Booth Street East under a footbridge. This entrance leads to a small courtyard, our door is at the back of this courtyard. The nearest train station is Oxford Road and the nearest Metrolink stop is St Peter’s Square. There are several buses that stop right outside MDC on Oxford Road. The nearest car park is at the Aquatic Centre. For full details on how to get to MDC click here.

Yes, our building is fully wheelchair accessible. There is ground floor access to the main reception and a lift inside the building to access the first floor.
Yes, we deliver fully accredited BSL courses for Levels 1, 2 and 3. Our courses are accredited by Signature and taught by fully qualified teachers. You can read more here.

The nearest car park is the Aquatics Centre NCP on Booth St East. It is approximately a 2-minute walk away. Please note this is not suitable for larger vehicles such as transit vans or HGV’s.
