Domestic abuse information and awareness event at Manchester Deaf Centre on 22 May 2023

Michelle and Leah, our Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation (DASA)  project staff, invite you to attend this event. The aim is to share information about the support that is available to a deaf person who is experiencing domestic abuse. 

Come along to find out more about our DASA project and about other organisations who we have been working with to improve the support that is provided to deaf people who need help. 

The day will include:

• presentations to share information 
• stalls from different organisations
• tea, coffee and biscuits/cakes

Organisations who will be attending include: 

• Sign Video
• Sign Health
• Women’s Aid

Everybody is welcome. The event is suitable for Deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and hearing people.
