There were talks from Greater Manchester Police and the deaf health charity SignHealth. Interpreters were provided so people could access the event in their own language. Approximately 20 people attended. Free food was served at Riley's bar and people stayed afterwards to socialise. The event aimed to share information and to raise awareness of Hate Crime. The process of how to report Hate Crime was also explained, should anyone be/become a victim.
