The I Can Youth Club for 11–16-year-olds continues to provide a much needed deaf-friendly and fun social space. Recent activities have included: football skills led by Sammy, who has played for Manchester United Deaf Team, ‘have a go’ outdoor games in the courtyard of Manchester Deaf Centre, and creative activities including tie-dying.

15th December – end of year party
All Deaf/hard of hearing and CODA (Children of Deaf Adults) aged 11–16 are welcome to join the group. Young people who would like to join must register first:

The young people aged 17–24 years from the I Can Get On project recently took part in a filmmaking workshop at HOME Manchester in September. They worked with Malandra Jacks Theatre & Creative company to put together clips they filmed. The group looked at different ways of showing film. Thanks to Home Manchester for organising and hosting the workshop.
