Manchester Deaf Social Club – December activities

The Manchester Deaf Social Club are a diverse group of people who meet at Manchester Deaf Centre every week on a Monday from 10am to 3.30pm to socialise, enjoy refreshments, games, activities and presentations on topics of interest. With over 100 members, this group is a great opportunity for members of the deaf community to get together on a regular basis. All new people are welcome.

What’s happening in December?

Health information workshop led by Sarah from Macmillan Deaf Cancer Support Project

Starts 11.15am Monday 2nd December in the MDC lounge

Topic: Cervical Cancer Screening Awareness

All welcome, come along to gain awareness and understanding to support yourself, your female family members or friends.

A​lso, the same day:

Hate crime awareness workshop led by Ben from Greater Manchester Police

Starts 11.15am Monday 2nd December in the main hall

 

'Sing and Sign' Christmas songs with Gemma from Sign Me Happy

Starts 11.30am Monday 9th December

 

Social Club Christmas party. Expect lots of fun and games and food! NOW FULL

10am to 3.30pm M​onday 16th December

 

Please note there will be no meet on Mondays 23rd and 30th December. First meet in New Year will be Monday 6th January 2025.
