MDC shortlisted for a national diabetes award

Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership and Manchester Deaf Centre were shortlisted for a national award, the Desmond Awards 2023,

which celebrate staff across the UK who make world-leading education and support for people with or at risk of developing type 2 diabetes possible.

D​ESMOND say "Our mission is to design, deliver and embed world-leading evidence-based education and support for people with or at risk of type 2 diabetes, and other long-term conditions."

We were shortlisted in INNOVATION AWARD, for developing and testing new innovative ideas in their DESMOND service.
