Pre-employment skills course

MDC is working in partnership with the organisation Breakthrough UK to deliver a deaf-accessible pre-employment skills course, starting in September. 

The course is available to people aged 18 or over who live in Manchester, Salford, Stockport or Trafford. 

The course is 6-hours in total, covering the following:

• 1-hour introduction session
• 1-hour on Employment Awareness and Career Opportunities
• 1-hour on Digital Skills and Job Searching
• 1-hour on Confidence Building
• 1-hour session on next steps
• 1-hour on a follow up session

This course is currently full but please let us know if you are interested as we can add you to our waiting list in case someone drops out. Also, if there is enough interest we may be able to organise a second course.
