Thanks to everyone who joined us for our summer social event and AGM on 6th July and made it such a special day!
Summer social
The weather didn’t always play ball this year but we still had a great day which was full of socialising and fun. Activities included market stalls, a tombola run by members of the Monday social group, a bouncy castle (well done to everyone who still had a go despite the rain!), activities run by our Children and Young People’s Service, signing choir songs, and handpainting to support the BDA petition #BSLInOurHands which is campaigning for BSL for all deaf children and their families. There was also lots of cake!
AGM
Lots of people stayed to attend our AGM and it was wonderful to see so many people engaged in the discussions about our organisation and community.
