Advocacy and Information

Our MDC advocacy service supports D/deaf, hard of hearing and deaf blind people within the Manchester area to access and benefit from health and social care services to reduce health inequalities and improve quality of life. The service raises awareness and educates health professionals to ensure their services are accessible to the deaf community. We also support social care services to make the necessary changes across front line processes with the improvement of deaf people’s access and experience in mind.

COVID-19: Unfortunately we are not currently offering a drop-in service and you must make an appointment to see our advisors. Please use the booking form below to book an appointment.
